About CED

CED is the market leader in the claims management sector in the Benelux and Spain, with an extremely broad and comprehensive range of services. From a strong home base in the Netherlands, CED is expanding its presence throughout the rest of Europe. Throughout the insurance chain, clients – who are primarily insurers and authorised representatives – are offered unique, integrated services in the loss adjustment and claims management sector. The growth that CED is experiencing is characterised by rapidly increasing professionalism, innovation and internationalisation.

CED’s activities range from loss and claims management, inspections, investigations, valuations, advice from employment experts, legal advice, recoveries, to the activity that we started with many years ago: loss adjustment.

For consistency, the five business lines in which CED operates are translated into international terms: Automotive, Property & Liability, Bodily njury, Claims management and Forensic. Two organisations operate under their own names, but they all use a standard CED company slogan. These organisations are EMN Expertise and HDS Taxaties. 

To support the strategy, four ‘cornerstones’ have been defined: the best experts, long-term client relationships, strong service concepts and operational excellence.

The headquarters of CED are established in the Netherlands. CED has offices in 14 European countries. Four corporate values guide the behaviour of the 1,300 CED employees: reliability, professionalism, leadership and innovation.
