CED, market leader in the Benelux and Spain in the loss adjustment and claims management sector, has expanded the number of offices in Belgium with the takeover of Bureau Farcy et Cie sprl. Recently the takeover contract was signed in Diegem. After the takeover CED will have over 180 professionals employed in Belgium.

“With the takeover of Bureau Farcy et Cie CED has reinforced its position in Belgium and the service range has once again been further extended. The takeover fits perfectly within CED’s ambition to be a leading claims handler in Europe in five years time. International growth, in addition to innovation and professionalization, is one of CED’s strategic spearheads”, says Stef Witteveen, chairman of the Board of Directors of CED Holding.

Bureau Farcy is active in liability loss adjustment and has, in particular, an excellent reputation in construction site risks, plant breakdown, constructor and architect liability, and related technical risks. Under the management of Damien Dodemont Farcy remains established in Alleur, near Liège, and will operate under its own name in parallel with CED Arbis in Belgium. Dodemont will be appointed to Operations Manager for both Bureau Farcy, and CED Arbis in Wallonia and will report to Dirk Clement, Director of CED Belgium.
